The Miller's House and The Carr Fire

We have received many calls, texts, emails and facebook messages asking about our home in Redding, Ca along with those who have or are currently serving Marked.

We are beyond grateful to share that every one of our homes are still standing.

It has been a week of not knowing whether our homes were standing or not. Mandatory evacuations and fire maps constantly changing showing our homes inside the fire line. But God.

Though we are overwhelmed with joy that our homes were spared and beyond grateful to the incredible firefighters, national guard, police and citizens who ARE working tirelessly to put out the fire and see that it doesn't continue to spread, we are also grieving with our community, many who have lost everything.

Redding will rebuild, and it will be stronger than before. We are seeing so much beauty already rise above the ashes, but Redding still needs your prayers and your support.

If you would like to give towards the Carr Fire, here is what we recommend: Bethel Global Response efforts you can text "$ + Bethel Relief" to 45-777 (Example: 100 Bethel Relief)

You are Invited.

Marked will be there, will you? Take this as your official invitation. We would love to meet you! Come by our table and say hello. Try the Marked Coffee, pick up a cookbook or a hand stamped key made by one of our mamas.

A note from Resurgent:

Imagine is our series of gatherings that are dismantling old definitions of creativity, worship and innovation. Conferences, retreats & intensives hosted in various cities all around the nation. This event is NOT just for the painters, poets, and songbirds but for all who want to grow as influencers in the earth.

Come to explore, discover, and test the boundaries of what you may have defined as "creativity". Our belief is every child was created in the image of a Creator. So come and be inspired to influence and create within your sphere of impact.

Our Annual Fill A Backpack Drive

Our Annual Fill A Backpack Drive

This year, our goal is to sponsor an additional 600 children. Increasing the enrollment of those in school yet again. In a community of 7,000, close to 5,000 of them being children, our goal is to see the numbers rise to over 2,400 this 2018-2019 school year.  Ultimately working with the government to see all 5,000 children enrolled in the years to come.

A Life Changed

A Life Changed

This past month we were able to celebrate one of our boys, as he celebrated 6 months clean.

This journey has not been easy, this past year has been filled with many phone calls of his escape, countless rehab centers closing their door due to relapse, and bursts of anger.

He Handed Over His Colors- A Note from Our Director in GDL

He Handed Over His Colors- A Note from Our Director in GDL

J found me first, took off his blue bandana, the most recognizable form of his gang affiliation, and placed it in my hand. He had on a clean pair of pants with no markings, tags, or drawings representing his gang. He also had on a newer pair of shoes... Said he didn't need the shoes I brought him anymore, that I could put them in the store for someone else who might need them next. After few words were exchanged, he looked at me and said, Im ready to be apart of the Marked family. These are the moments we live for."  - Karlisa
